Alan Jackson was born and raised in Guntersville, Alabama. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery in 1980. He later graduated from GAB Basic Adjuster School in 1985 and GAB Intermediate Casualty School, graduating in 1987. He worked in the Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Adjusting industry for twenty years prior to pursuing a career in the legal profession. While working as an adjuster, he handled every facet of multi-line adjusting including commercial, homeowners, mobile home, auto, flood, earthquake, and business interruption. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Faulkner University in 1990, he attended the Birmingham School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2002. Mr. Jackson has been actively practicing law for twelve years and specializes in insurance claims. He is the founding member of Jackson and Associates and he now devotes his time to homeowner and business owners as it relates to any and all disputes against their insurance companies.
