J. Danny Hackney
J. Danny Hackney is a native of Cedartown, Georgia. He graduated from Auburn University in 1970. Upon graduation he began a career in the field of property and casualty insurance claims . Mr. Hackney learned casualty insurance coverage and procedure as a Field Claims Adjuster with Crawford and Company Insurance Adjusters. He moved on to Personal and Commercial Property Insurance coverage and claims practices while with Home Indemnity Company of New York which at the time, was one of the largest commercial insurers in the world.
Beginning in 1981, Mr. Hackney worked as Alabama Claims Manager for The American Indemnity Group where he was responsible for all property and casualty claims in the State of Alabama. Mr Hackney worked closely with the Vice President of Claims in developing proper property claims practices and procedures to insure fast and fair investigation and payment of claims . Mr Hackney was also instrumental in developing catastrophe claims procedures for American Indemnity Group.
Mr. Hackney attended Law School and received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1991. While attending Law School, he received American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts and Real Property. Mr. Hackney began the practice of law in 1993 and has worked prosecuting cases for policyholders and beneficiaries of insurance policies who have been denied appropriate benefits. Mr Hackney has also developed civil class action theories regarding insurance company fraud and bad faith regarding evaluation methods employed relative to "total loss' automobiles. Mr, Hackney employs thirty-two (32) years of insurance and legal training in his law practice which involves personal and commercial property insurance including bad faith failure to investigate and pay valid claims. His practice also involves personal injury , worker's compensation and other liability issues. Mr. Hackney serves as an Expert in various property insurance litigation. Recent cases include a recovery of over One Million Dollars for a homeowner whose insurer refused to pay for repair following a fire and a windstorm.
Mr. Hackney has resided in Birmingham, Alabama since 1975 and is licensed to practice law in all Alabama State Courts, Alabama Federal Courts, Mississippi Federal Courts, The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and The United States Supreme Court.

Alan Jackson was born and raised in Guntersville, Alabama. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery in 1980. He later graduated from GAB Basic Adjuster School in 1985 and GAB Intermediate Casualty School, graduating in 1987. He worked in the Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Adjusting industry for twenty years prior to pursuing a career in the legal profession. While working as an adjuster, he handled every facet of multi-line adjusting including commercial, homeowners, mobile home, auto, flood, earthquake, and business interruption. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Faulkner University in 1990, he attended the Birmingham School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2002. Mr. Jackson has been actively practicing law for twelve years and specializes in insurance claims. He is the founding member of Jackson and Associates and he now devotes his time to homeowner and business owners as it relates to any and all disputes against their insurance companies. He served as a Boy Scout Leader for almost a decade and is an Eagle Scout himself. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Marshall County Bar Association and the Marshall County Volunteer Guardian Program. He is admitted to practice law in Federal Court as well as all Circuit and District Courts in the State of Alabama.
